Olé
This art was created for Mattie Rhodes Cultural Art Center in Kansas City, MO. The show is called “Chicano - “Visions of Courage !”. This piece is a composition of “found objects”. I have had in my family since I was young, the bullfighter was up in my parents wall growing up, the shawl was my grandmothers. The cast resin corazón was sculpted by me as a part of my Hecho KC brand and lit with an LED. The diamond also has backlighting as well as the bull and matador that creates a glowing silhouette.
